Any one in any supervisory position has to solve problems and take decisions. The quality of their supervisory effectiveness depends quite a lot on how well they solve problems and how quickly they can take effective decisions.

People in non-supervisory positions also have to solve problems or take decisions quickly, if they are involved in operations and they too can immensely benefit from strong ‘Problem Solving & Decision Making’ skills.

Many supervisors or managers especially those new appointed often panic and react to problems or when they have to take crucial decision on the spur of the moment and in the process create a new set of problems and mostly without any success at solving the original problem!

Managers and supervisors without ‘Problem Solving & Decision Making’ skill seldom find permanent solutions to the problems they come across and consequently they remain fire fighting on a day to day basis. For them their jobs are a never-ending set of problems and they hardly ever find any time to engage in any innovative or developmental work.

This course will help you to adopt a logical and structured approach to ‘Problem Solving & Decision Making’ so that it will take away the undue stress from your work as a supervisor or manager and allow you to manage your work in a more meaningful and effective manner.

Decision Making:
o Making the best possible decision
o Implementing - ensure proper application of solution.

 
     
  Note: The delegates will discuss related models and indulge in group activities, simulations, & role plays to practice ‘Problem Solving & Decision Making’ processes.
